Thank you again Jessica for this very beautiful piece of writing. I too noticed yesterday that the St John’s Wort in my garden is blooming. I’m inspired to make your salve. Where do you use it?. Is your birthday in 3 days? Mine is tomorrow. Happy birthday when it comes. I feel a closeness to you through your writing of Wuthering Heights and now your birthdate. How wonderful is that. Thank you, thank you.
I still don’t know how to use substack so rarely post as no one seems to reply but I am so glad I found you on it.
Hi Sharon! Happy birthday to you as well! Mine is on Friday (27). I am so happy to have found you here--and don't feel badly about Substack...it certainly is confusing to use and only a small fraction of people receive lots of interaction.
As for my salve...it is used externally on any part of the skin where you might use a topical antibiotic. If you look online, you will find tutorials on making oils and salves. Honestly, the oil alone will act as a healing agent because it is infused with the plant--but the beeswax adds additional anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties when combined with the oil!
Thank you as always for your thoughtful comment...enjoy your birthday, friend! ♡
This sounds amazing and I love how you're always reading Wuthering Heights 😅😂
Well, I'm always thinking, "Where's Heathcliff?"😆
🤣
