I'm so happy you've found me...yes, indeed...it's all Emily, all-the-time her in my little corner of the 'stack! It's lovely to have you here...and ugh, no...the film. In its defense, apparently the hype was more lurid than the actual quite 'silly-sounding' film. Either way, I'm so glad I didn't waste two hours enduring it! ♡

Ohhh, the publication month of the gorgeous Edna Clarke Hall illustrated WH is my birthday month--I'm taking it as a sign to gift myself a special treat. The typography choice for the title on the cover has generated some fun brain food. The layout has by eye bouncing around with returns to the WU / THE / RING and HE / I. There's also the shared "G" linking Wuthering and Heights as if we're playing scrabble using only words from EJB's world. (And G for ghosts, grotesque, ghoul, goblin, glowered, gooseberry, gravestone...). And then the somewhat isolated HTS in the lower right hand corner could be interpreted as shorthand for Heathcliffs (multiple). Fun!

And yes, yes…I was aroused by the topography on the Edna Clarke Hall cover, too—your observations are brilliant. I especially adore the shared G—and oh, how I would enjoy a game of EJB-themed Scrabble!
PS: you may be delighted to learn that in my own novel, I included a bit of typography fun, (literally) linking the two protagonists’ first initials to create a pivotal scene and a major episode which results in the story’s climax.
